Hand-picked and sustainable

As a New Zealand business, we aspire to embody clean, green values. We follow a farm-to-plate process, serving dishes created from fresh, well-sourced produce.

Uniting us with Clarence Hotel, and connecting us with the European heritage of our unique building, is our logo, the ‘bee’. Our bee symbolises our role as custodians of the environment and value for sustainable practice.

Carefully curated,
international and local wines

Clarence Bistro’s large wine cellar is carefully curated by sommelier Charles Leong to complement our menus. The wine list comprises both international and local labels, with a focus on boutique New Zealand wine producers.

For the serious wine connoisseurs, we offer an exclusive wine journey with Charles Leong. A wine legend with an international reputation, he’ll mesmerise you with both his knowledge and his deep baritone voice. You’ll taste the very best of international and NZ wines, paired with a delectable three course meal.
